Supplied in Levitra 2.5mg, Levitra 5mg, Levitra 10mg, and Levitra 20mg doses, Levitra is taken without food twentyfive to sixty minutes before sexual anticipation. If you do not experience an erection after the first or even second time you use Levitra, ask your doctor if you are a good candidate for a higher dosage.
Use Levitra confidently knowing that 85% of those who used Levitra in studies experienced an erection right away. If the erection does occur right away but is painful or lasts for an unusually long period of time, you should contact your doctor. Failure to do so may result in permanent damage.
There are generally no set rules for eating while taking Levitra. It is noteworthy to say that if you do eat a large meal prior to taking Levitra, the effects may take longer. The food slows down the body's ability to absorb the drug. Swallow the drug whole with plenty of water. Crushing the tablet does not increase the affect of it. Also, be sure that you wait at least 24 hours between doses. Taking more than this can be dangerous.
As with other medications, you should keep Levitra at room temperature. Keep it away from too much heat or moisture. It would be wise not to keep Levitra in the bathroom medicine cabinet.
